ok so
as i'm sure you've noticed i've done a lot of breeds recently but i kind of feel really drained from getting them out as quickly as i have
because while the ones i'd started with, the canon breeds, were all very simple. at most three mane colors, solid coat colors, no weird mixbreeds or gradients.
and then the last five i've done were requested
almost all of them have involved multi-colored manes or alicorns or weird mixed-breeds. 
and that's not really the sort of basic breed components i'd only charge the base amount for?
for instance, even the celestia and applejack breed would've cost more than a standard breed like the rarity and zephyr breeze one if they'd both been requests. (trickster is a close friend of mine who i do things for. they don't have to pay me to do simple breeds for them, and they tend to support me through the trickier breeds anyway)
as such, my prices are changing a little:
first off, if i quote you a price, it's for a standard breed where BOTH parents are simple, so one coat color, maybe colored wingtips, up to three colors in the mane. 
any alicorns, traditional unicorns (aka the long skinny flesh tail with a poof of hair at the end), zebras of any type, or deer ponies are slightly pricier.
things like draconequuses (or draconequus-pony hybrids, especially those) or semi-closed species like fairy-keepers are actually pricey.

standard prices are as they were before;
2 points for a breed of 4-6 foals, 3 for 8, 4 for 10. if you buy more than the standard 4-6, please at least try to buy more than the free foals. nine times out of ten, the ones you like would've been in the smaller breeds and you could've gotten them for less points. buying only the free foals every time you request big breeds makes me feel like i did all the extra work of doing those huge sets for no reason. i don't put a limit on how many you can buy because i never make enough to really be worried about that, and it's not like a lot of people buy my things.
the second tier prices, for alicorns and the like (common fairy-keepers with no special traits fit under this category, so long as the other pony is a simple pony with nothing too outrageous);
4 points for 4-6 foals, with 5 for 8 and 6 for 10. if only one parent fits here, and the other is a simple pony, unless otherwise stated, the prices are 3 for 4-6, 4 for 8, and 5 for 10.
the third tier price is up to me, depending on the complexity of one or both ponies. for instance, though, if one pony is a rarer fairy-keeper (such as hyphos my long-fairy or vidrio my rare one) and the other parent is a simple pony, will cost 5 points for 4-6 foals, 6 for 8, and 7 for 10.
please show me who you want bred before asking me how much the prices are. 
don't send me points and then ask me for a breed. wait for my go ahead, or i'll take it as a donation.
also, if i have a breedable sheet up (like the firefly one, which i'm closing as of this journal) do NOT fill it out and then ask me to do a breed. ask me about it first, get my confirmation, and then either send me your pony so i can doll it onto the breed or doll it yourself and send me the finished product. send whatever points i quote you for the pony after that, and i will start on the breed.
it is my choice, should you pay for 4-6, to do either 4 or 6. if you want more choices, ask me about it. usually, i'm willing to help you out. and i don't mind you tweaking the design so long as you credit me the first time you use it.
commission prices are up to me, but if you want me to design a pony for you it'll probably cost no more than 5 points to do even the most complicated of designs.
a set, like the series of commissions i did in this cockabeetle.deviantart.com/gal… folder are 5 points each, unless they were complicated. the luna and ahuitzotl child, for example, was 8 points, because of the mane and the odd shape of the tail. 
a set refers to drawing the pony using a few different bases or even drawing it myself, usually three times but sometimes only twice, with a illustration of a cutiemark. if you commission a set for a character who doesn't have a cutiemark, you can ask me to design one. i won't charge any more to do it, but it will make me take longer to post things.

and i've been debating on opening commissions for homestuck-style talk sprites
i've got a few of them in a couple of places and i'm sure theyre noticable
i dont know if theyre good but theyre consistent

i am still in college tho so it might take me a while to do things
but thursday-sunday are my free days too so it won't be too bad depending on when i'm asked
